Either you are living out someone else's dream for you, or you are setting your own course. Don't let other people tell you who you are. Form the habit of saying "Yes" to your own ideas. Then write down all the reasons why they will work. There will always be plenty of people around you to tell you why they won't work.
Surround yourself with people who believe you can.
By all means, share your goals but only with people who can help you attain them.
Benchmark for choosing friends: Will spending time with this person drag me down or lift me up? Will he or she make me a happier person? A more successful person? Will he or she be able to pray for and with me? Will he or she help me to achieve my most important goals? if no, find some friends who will.
Make a list with five friends who can help you achieve your goals.
